Implants
In cases where a tooth is too damaged to be repaired, or congenitally missing, it can be replaced by an artificial tooth that looks and feels like the real thing. With a root form made of titanium, implants are more comfortable and secure than traditional partials or dentures for replacing teeth. Dr. DeWitt has been restoring missing teeth with implants since 1996.

Preventive and maintenance procedures
We provide oral hygiene instruction (brushing, flossing) cavity control and prevention, dietary recommendations to aid in oral health, fluoride supplements, mouth guards, sealants, and low radiation X-rays.

Invisalign
A revolutionary new way to straighten teeth without traditional braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear plastic aligners instead of metal brackets and wires. A quick and wonderfully esthetic alternative to traditional braces.

Veneers
In addition to color, the size, shape and alignment of your teeth also affect your smile. Veneers are strong porcelain shells painlessly bonded to the outside of your teeth. They are custom made to fit and look like natural teeth.

Onlays/Crowns
Onlays and crowns (sometimes called 'caps') restore a tooth to its natural shape and appearance. Ceramic materials similar to tooth enamel are custom shaped and bonded to the tooth to make it look like new. Long lasting gold is an option for less visible molars.

Tooth-colored fillings
Composite resin is a durable alternative to silver fillings. Filling shades are customized to match your tooth color.

Bridges
Fixed bridgework is used to replace missing teeth by borrowing the strength of adjacent teeth to attach the missing teeth in a non-removable fashion.

Dentures
Dr. DeWitt was presented with the award for removable prosthodontics in dental school. He enjoys creating smiles and functional appliances for those who need removable dentures. He is proficient at utilizing advances in implant technology to retain and support dentures.

Periodontics
Healthy gums and bone are essential to keeping teeth forever. Dr. DeWitt and his staff are well trained in non-surgical and surgical periodontal care. In more advanced cases, Dr. DeWitt will coordinate periodontal treatment with a specialist.

Sedation Dentistry
For patients who are particularly afraid and need a little extra help relaxing, we offer nitrous oxide “laughing gas.”

Tooth “Bonding”
Refers to the use of tooth colored composite resin to repair teeth that are chipped, crooked, cracked, stained and/or gapped. Typically this is achieved in one painless appointment.

TMJ Therapy
People with jaw joint pain or limited function frequently benefit form non-invasive removable bite-splint therapy. These biocompatible appliances are usually worn at night and help with reducing symptoms.
